KEYS, FLAHERTY AND ZIMMERMAN

Richard Keys and WRWC Keys. My Great Great Grandfather and Great Grandfather are buried side by side. They share the same headstone. Richard Keys is listed at the top and WRWC is listed at the bottom of the headstone. They are buried in Cottonwood Cemetery, Muldrow, Oklahoma.

Doris Evelyn Peterson-Zimmerman. My Grandmother. Doris is buried in Lusk Cemetery, Lusk, Wyoming.

General Floyd Flaherty. My Uncle and my father's brother. Handmade headstone by person(s) unknown. General (went by his middle name Floyd) is buried in New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, Oklahoma.

Mary Ann Hayes-Keys.  My Great Great Grandmother.  She was the wife of Richard Keys.  Mary was born in Ireland and died in Alabama.  She is buried at Sterns Cemetery, Jackson County, Alabama.

Benjamin Edward Flaherty.  Grave marker for my grandfather.  I hope to someday replace this marker with a headstone.  Benjamin is buried at Peeveyhouse Cemetery, Van Buren, Arkansas.

Amos Gordon Flaherty. Amos was the older brother to my father.  He was born about 1931 and died as a small child in an accident about 1933.  He is buried next to his mother Otta Gertrude Keys-Flaherty and his niece Sherry Angel Flaherty at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

 

 

Lewis Edward Flaherty.  My father's brother.  Lewis is buried at Peeveyhouse Cemetery, Van Buren, Arkansas.

Benjamin Winston Flaherty.  Ben was the brother of my father.  He was also known as 'Silver Eagle' to family and friends.  He survived lung cancer and had lived three more years before the cancer returned and claimed his life.  Ben is buried close to his brother General Floyd at New Hope Cemetery, LeFlore County, Spiro, Oklahoma.

George Arthur Eugene Flaherty.  My father,  went by his middle name Gene and people in Okmulgee, Oklahoma also knew him as 'Ol Man Flaherty'.  He was a kind man who would always do for others without wanting anything in return.  My father is buried in Okmulgee Cemetery, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Sherry Angel Flaherty, infant daughter of Benjamin Winston Flaherty.  Buried at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, LeFlore County, Oklahoma next to her grandmother and uncle.
