Pascal Patton

Pascal Patton was my Great-Great Grandfather. He was the son of Jesse and Mary (Lewellen) Patton. He was born March 1, 1824 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee and died April 3, 1862 in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas. He died of measles he contracted on the battlefield during the Civil War. He is buried at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. His brother Isaac C. Patton who also died during the Civil War is buried next to him. Pascal was a Corporal for the Confederacy in the 15th (Josey's) Arkansas Infantry Regiment. Company E.

Lucretia Sarah (Jones) Patton was my Great-Great-Grandmother and the wife of Pascal Patton.  Lucretia was born December 17, 1829 in either Missouri or Alabama and died July 1, 1893 in either Oklahoma, Arkansas or Missouri.  Still trying to locate the exact information.  She was widowed at the age of thirty-three and she and Pascal had ten children.  She later married her second husband John W. Hopkins about 1866 and had two sons.  She married her third husband Joseph Burchett on July 15, 1877 in Barry County, Missouri.  Joseph died in 1882.  

Lucretia Sarah (Jones) Patton and Elizabeth R (Jones) Patton

Lucretia Sarah (Jones) Patton (1829-1893) and Elizabeth R. (Jones) Patton (1820-1909) were sisters.  They married Patton brothers.  Lucretia married Pascal Patton in 1843 in Washington County, Arkansas.  Elizabeth married Isaac C. Patton about 1840 in Washington County, Arkansas.

 

Sarah Ella Patton

Henry Bruce Morin and Sarah Ella Patton-Morin and Family.   Sarah Ella Patton was the daughter of James Northan Patton and Eliza Jane Ingraham.  She was also the niece of my Great Grandmother Sarah Jane Patton Flaherty.

Sarah Jane (Patton) Cloer-Flaherty

Sarah Jane (Patton) Cloer-Flaherty was my Great-Grandmother. She was born November 11, 1846 in Washington County, Arkansas and died November 27, 1920 in Frisco, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of Pascal and Lucretia Sarah (Jones) Patton.  She married George Washington Cloer on July 12, 1863 in Carroll County, Missouri.  He was in the Civil War and went AWOL as well as deserting Sarah.  She married Thomas Morgan Flaherty on February 21, 1869 in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.  They shared fifty-one years together until Thomas' death in August 1920.

James Northan Patton

James Northan Patton was the son of Pascal and Lucretia Sarah (Jones) Patton.  He was born March 10, 1850 in Washington County, Arkansas and died August 29, 1929 in Portales, Roosevelt County, New Mexico and is buried at Frisco Cemetery, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.

James Pascal Patton

James Pascal Patton (1881-1966).  Son of James Northan Patton and Eliza Jane Ingram.  Grandson of Pascal Patton and Lucretia Sarah Jones.  He was also the nephew of my Grandmother Sarah Jane (Patton) Flaherty.
