Otta Gertrude Keys-Flaherty.  My grandmother.  My Uncle Lewis Flaherty is the one that ordered the headstone and it contains some errors.  It should have read Otta G. Keys-Flaherty.  Maiden name was spelled KEYS not KEYES.  Birthdate is also incorrect.  Otta was born on September 4, 1894 and not June 6, 1884.  The June birthdate does pop up in the family history as someones birthdate but it is not Otta's. Otta was 42 years old when she died.  Her death certificate states "Died for want of proper medication."  Cause "Malaria".  Otta is buried at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, Oklahoma.

Lawrence Emory Zimmerman.  My grandfather was a full-blood German who had such a dark complexion that people mistook him for African American.    I was told that he was found in a ditch along the side a road in Douglas Wyoming and died in the hospital.  Possibly died of a heart attack.  I have not obtained a copy of his death certificate yet.  Lawrence is buried at Bodarc Cemetery in Sioux County, Nebraska.

Pascal Patton.  Pascal was the son of Jesse and Mary Isabelle Lewellen Patton.  He was my Great Great Grandfather and was married to Lucrectia Sarah Jones.  He contracted measels during the Civil War.  His son James N. found him lying on a battlefield and carried him home where he later died.  Pascal is buried next to his brother Isaac C. and Isaac's daughter Mary at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas.
